If you ever want to travel back in time, go into this room in the Fordyce Bath House in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This is the old gym that is beautifully kept as it was 150 years ago. I walked into this room and could immediately picture the scene…..skinny guys in short white shorts, tucked in white tank tops, and leather boots climbing the ropes, hanging from the rings, and hitting the punching bags all in the name of fitness. I might even like (and go to) gyms more if they looked old-school like this! Doesn’t every gym need parallel bars ?
